WCPT'S COMMUNITY CALENDAR
The 2013 UIC Urban Forum will debate the role of technology as a critical element in enhancing the capacity of public institutions to adjust and adapt to metropolitian regions' emerging economic, political and social conditions.
The Forum will bring together public intellectuals, stakeholders, academians, policy analyst and citizens to examine both the enhancing and constraining effects of technology on the capacity of local and regional governments to meet their health-care responsabilities, workforce-training and education needs, demands for promoting economic devolopment and opportunities, and service-delivery responsibilities to their citizens.

Founded in 1972, Muntu Dance Theatre is highly grguarded for its innovative repertory, preserving traditional African dance while creating new works that build on African, Caribbean and African-American cultural traditions.
Muntu's core programs include professional performances, comprehensive commuity arts programs and public classes. Memories N' Time is an evening length piece featuring original compositions by acclaimed composer/pianist Reginald Robinson and world premiere choreography by Muntu's Artistic Director Amaniyea Payne and Company member/choreographer Amansu Easton. Memories N' Time explores the cultural and rhythmic connections between the dance and music of ragtime, traditional African, high life, calypso and jazz. Friday's benefit performance also includes a reception and silent auction. Saturday and Sunday will include a Vendor Marketplace.

Sauk Elementary School - Show Choir Performance
Come bring in the season with the sights and sounds of the Sauk Eagle Show Choir. Enjoy 150 nine-eleven year olds as they harmonize and energize the crowd. We will be performing at the Matteson Mall at 1pm and the Kankakee Mall at 3pm. Come enjoy the show!
